The Manor House

This Manor House was built in 1840 by Christiaan Kloppers and is a magnificent example of Cape Dutch architecture. The house is thatched with a four- pilaster Worcester type gable with concave wings. Sitting under two palm trees which reach right into the sky, planted so the farm could be seen by travellers from many miles away.

Today, the fully renovated Manor House accommodates eight people in four beautifully decorated bedrooms and three large bathrooms.

It has a sitting room, large well-appointed traditional ‘farm house’ kitchen with an agar, a spacious dining/living room and its own private pool. The house is air-conditioned with Wi-Fi, TV and sound system.

The views from the manor house are breath-taking and the house opens beautifully onto the lawns below.
